One of the reasons I love baseball is all the debating that it engenders. It’s a thoughtful, timeless game and I miss it like the dickens. For just a snippet of how much one can thing about baseball, read this
with the arrogance it seems to imply?
“as followers of Jesus, we are called to a lifetime of looking in humility. The idea that we’ve got it all, that we understand it all is foreign to Christianity. To be sure humility doesn’t require us to be silent or apologetic about our beliefs. Just as the apostles, when they were beaten for teaching in the temple and told to be silent, replied, “We must obey God rather than men,” so, too, we have the right and responsibility to winsomely proclaim our faith. Humility doesn’t mean silence. It does mean that we should not be arrogant.”
For more on how religious relativism isn’t an option, and why we as the church should fight it’s increasing reach into us, read Why can’t I have my god, and you have yours?
I sure do miss the Satellite broadcast of the MWSF Keynote by Steve. The unbelievable slowness of all the web sites providing “live” coverage of the Keynote definitely gives me pause for all the services that we depend on the Internet for. It used to be 1 big table, with a bunch of cells. Why use a table when it’s not data.
So, I got rid of the table, and added a bunch of floating divs. Better right? Not quite

I want something a little more subtle. So, how about rounded corners for the section headings. But, you ask, how will the section headings be accessible? Easy, use the background attribute in CSS to set a background image for the link state and then the hover state for all anchor tags inside of a dt. And voila, you have this

And it works IE 5 and above, Mozilla, Firefox, and Safari. I love it when a plan comes together.
