Denominations and church planting
One of the tasks that I’m working through in preparation for planting is investigating the multitude of denominations out there to see if there are ones that are a good fit doctrinally (broadly reformed, complementarian, etc) and that have a commitment to church planting. I’ve already begun the application process for the Acts 29 Network, which isn’t a denomination, more an affiliation. So far I’ve talked or met with area representatives from
I’m trying to get together with Vision360 Detroit in the next month or so.
Through the former pastor of Julie’s family, I’m trying to connect with Jeremy Erb, who leads the multiplication movement with the North American Baptist Conference. Jeremy leads The Table, which is an Acts 29 church in Portland.
Any recommendations for other denominations I should investigate?
